Emraan assists the firm’s lawyers with a wide variety of cases and litigation tasks, including research, document review, preparing draft documents, attending and reporting on proceedings and appearing before the Landlord and Tenant Board. His experience also includes preparing conference/presentation materials and updating The Law of Municipal Liability in Canada textbook in 2019.
As a law student, Emraan provided pro-bono legal assistance to retail investors in his capacity as a caseworker at the Osgoode Hall Investor Protection Clinic.
Prior to his legal studies, he attended the University of Toronto where he majored in Peace, Conflict and Justice (at the Munk School of Global Affairs) and obtained his minor in Political Science and History.
